JACK NICKLAUS APPAREL INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES LICENSING AGREEMENT WITH GOLF HOUSE S.P.A. FOR ITALY, FRANCE, GERMANY AND SPAIN

North Palm Beach, Florida USA --- November 18, 2008 --- Jack Nicklaus Apparel International, a strategic partnership between Hartmarx Corporation and the Nicklaus Companies, announced today that it has signed a licensing agreement with Golf House S.p.A. to market men’s and women’s apparel under the Jack Nicklaus name in Italy, France, Germany and Spain. The agreement was jointly announced by Mr. Raymond Giuriceo, vice-president and managing director for International Marketing at Hartmarx Corporation, Mr. Andrew O’Brien, vice-president for marketing and licensing at Nicklaus Companies, and Ms. Mavie Vittadini Bini, president of Golf House S.p.A.

The Jack Nicklaus collection will be available throughout Golf House’s distribution network. This will include Golf House’s own Golf ‘us stores. The collection will launch for spring 2009.

"This is an excellent opportunity to extend our brand reach into key territories by partnering with a dominant player in the golf market with a proven marketing strategy," said Giuriceo.

"Nicklaus, the most revered names in golf, makes an ideal partner for us as we continue to expand our golf product offerings to the fashion-conscious consumer in these markets," said Vittadini Bini.

The Jack Nicklaus collection will include products for both men and women with meticulous attention to detail that mirror the high standards established by Jack Nicklaus. The use of innovative performance materials and the purest natural fabrics will be the cornerstone of the product offering. Seasonally updated designs will feature fresh color offerings and flattering, well-fitted silhouettes that deliver comfort without compromising style. The collection will have a broad product offering appropriate for both on and off the course.
